Using Web Templates
In these times of need more and more people are turning to the Internet in search of a second income. Sadly not all of us have the skills or the means to design our own websites and many choose to join sites such as WordPress or Blogger. However web templates may be a solution to the problem.
If you are planning on using a web template it is very important that you understand the rules. Rules are only slightly different from site to site but the fact is that if you break just one of these rules you will be using the template illegally. The main differences between the rules appear between free web templates and commercial templates.
Using Free Web Templates
Using free web templates usually means that you will have to have a link to the author’s web site on your homepage but many now insist that their link appears throughout your site.
Although there appears to be an infinite number of free web templates available at any one time it is highly likely that these templates are all be used many times across the Internet. Those template designs which are very niche specific are rare because nobody really wants to have the same site design as a rival and this is more likely to occur unless you use a more generic design.
One easy way to make your web site appear unique is to simply change the header image. The header image is usually the large image at the top of web templates and in software such as WordPress the changing of this image is as simple as a few clicks.
Photoshop is a popular image editor but this software is incredibly expensive and most commonly used by professionals. If you want to design your own header image you should search for shareware or freeware or, if you can afford it, there are a few cheap applications available. If you find it simply too difficult why not hire somebody online, it will only cost a few dollars for a single image.
